7 Films to Check Out this 2017
This year has an amazing line-up of films that will keep many movie buffs out there busy. With so many to choose from, here are some of the films on the radar.
This film sets up Wolverine and X-Men fans for a heartbreak. It is no secret that this will be the last time that Hugh Jackman will play the role of Logan, a.k.a. Wolverine. How that story will unfold vis-a-vis Professor X’s involvement makes this one of the most anticipated movies this year.
Beauty And The Beast (March)
Will this live action adaptation even come close to the success of the 1991 animated film? The initial trailers seem to suggest that it just may. A timeless tale and an impressive list of casts that include Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, and Ewan McGregor among many others already make it worth checking out.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (May)
If the first volume is anything to go by, it would be safe to expect a lot of humor in this second installment. With colorful characters and Baby Groot to look forward to, who would want to miss it?
Wonder Woman (June)
The short and captivating scenes from the trailers not to mention Gal Gadot reprising her role as Wonder Woman are among the top reasons that make us want to check this out.
The Dark Tower (July)
This is one film that took a long time coming. Adapted from Stephen King’s famous Dark Tower, this fantasy-horror-science fiction has all the makings of an epic ride.
This film is adapted from the book of the same title written by Stephen King that has terrified many readers since it was first published in 1986. It’s first movie adaptation was no less scary bringing on the big screen the nightmarish story surrounding the demonic being and the children who were unfortunate to have ever crossed its path. This latest adaptation is said to have received positive reviews from the author of the novel himself.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi (December)
The title of seems to have a ring of finality in it. If you are like many Star Wars fans out there, you would have wondered what exactly the title suggests. Is Luke really the last of the Jedi? Or does it have an entirely different meaning? We cannot wait to find out the answer.
